I have breastfed all of our babies and they usually nurse when they need to, so we don’t use bottles all that often but we still need them. There are times when I have to pump and prepare bottles so it’s good to have quality bottles on hand. You can see my post about “Why Nursing Moms Need a Breastpump”, the same goes for a good bottle. Along with my breast pump, a good bottle that is natural enough for a nursing baby to take is essential when someone else needs to help feed baby. We use the Avent Natural baby bottle.
“Our new bottle helps to make bottle feeding more natural for your baby and you. The nipple features an innovative petal design for natural latch on similar to the breast, making it easy for your baby to combine breast and bottle feeding.”
“The wide breast shaped nipple promotes natural latch on similar to the breast, making it easy for your baby to combine breast and bottle feeding.”
We don’t have any issues with little one taking this bottle. 🙂 Although I can’t say the same for bottles that we have used in the past. It’s important to do your research on the type of bottle to use for your breastfed baby, some are easier than others to use.
The hubby and I don’t get out much but it’s good to know that when we do, and our little one is with grandma, that he is not hungry. 🙂
