It’s no secret that we love making and eating Rice Krispie treats at our house. If you don’t know how to make rice krispie treats, you can get that recipe here. We love them, eat them all up they usually don’t last a full day. Since Valentines day is coming up I wanted to make some special rice krispie treats but this time I put a little spin on it. I made them into mini bites and I added in a little something extra this time.

Check out my Conversation Heart and Sprinkles Rice Krispie Mini Bites. These are a fun bite size that the kids will love.

Rice Krispie Sprinkles Mini Bites

First, get out the sprinkles you want to use and crush up some of the Valentines Day Conversation Hearts candy. Lay them out to get ready for dipping.

All you do is put the rice krispie treats into a mini cupcake pan while they are still warm. Let them cool in the pan. I sprayed the pan with olive oil cooking spray right before so they are easier to take out. I also sprayed a little on the spoon I used to put them in the pan to make them a little easier to handle.

How to make rice krispie mini treats with chocolate, sprinkles and conversation hearts

Once cooled, they should come right out. Next you dip the base into the melted chocolate and then dip it into the crushed conversation hearts and sprinkles. Set them out so that the chocolate can cool and harden with the sprinkles on them. That’s it!

They came out so cute and they taste delicious. They are bite size so they are the perfect size for my toddler. The white chocolate just gives the rice krispie treat an extra kick. We ALWAYS cover our treats in chocolate around here.
