I decided to do most of my kids Christmas shopping early this year and by early I mean before Thanksgiving! I went to J.CPenney first this year because I always find the best deals on my kids favorite toy brands no matter what time of year it is. For my girls, I’m really loving wood toys right now, like Melissa & Doug brand because they last and promote open and imaginative play.
As far as what my girls are really into, it really comes down to a few things this year. My Little Pony, Barbies, and Hatchimals. My oldest is at that age (5) where she is also really interested in learning to play games, anything from card games like Go Fish to building type games, which is why I picked up Jenga for us for our family game nights. For my son, he’s really into Spiderman, cars, and Mickey Mouse. I personally also love getting him wooden toys from Melissa & Doug.
This year the #JCPchallenge is all about challenging yourself to beat your budget and spend less on holiday gifts by shopping at JCPenney. I am taking the #JCPchallenge, and you should too!
