you might have noticed a few changes around here. I have been, for some time now, thinking about changing the name of my blog to fit more of what i have been writing about…or what i want to write more about – my family, our home life, the photographs that capture the way we live. not only have i fallen in love with lifestyle photography, but i have even considered taking my business in that direction too. i wanted a name that captured the true essence of what i write about and photograph here…our story…
this is my space…

my family is my inspiration…
my children are my muse…
the other night while the girls were sleeping…it was late….I decided to just go ahead and do it. I bought the new domain and it started from there. The new name is – The Story of Five. Because we are/will be a strong unit of 5 soon, once the little one is born in a few months. it’s hard to believe in just under 3 months we will have another little warm body filling our bed. the fears that i had early on…like the fear of me not having enough of myself to give, have completely gone away. i’ve realized that our ability as mothers to love and nurture our children grows with each new life and isn’t whittled between them.
and I think we have finally decided on a name. more on that to come, we want to tell the grandparents first. ??
so there it is, I hope you like it. big change always comes with a little bit of risk, but I am completely happy with it.
