I am teaming up with Scholastic today to give you my top 11 finds for Sister-Baby Sister Halloween Costumes, specifically for sisters+baby sisters or age gaps. So cute!
We’re inspired by the recent book release GHOSTS by Raina Telgemeier – the bestselling and award-winning author of kid’s graphic novels like SMILE and SISTERS! The new book GHOSTS is about two sisters who move to a new town and encounter some (you guessed it!) ghosts! A perfect read for this Halloween, so be sure to check out the giveaway at the end of this post.
I was reminiscing the other day looking at photos from two years ago Halloween when my girls were Batgirl & Robin.
Now you might be asking why we chose these costumes for our little girls and that’s because our oldest, thanks to her dad, was obsessed with Batman. 🙂 She wanted Batman everything and that was also the year we went to ComiCon and she was so excited that she finally got to meet the man.
I made the costumes myself and they are so easy and NO-SEW. You can see the tutorials here.
Here’s a list of my top finds Sister + Baby Sister Costume Ideas that you can do if you have two little ones.
Don’t leave without entering the GHOSTS giveaway at the end!
1. Elsa & Anna
6. Milk & Oreo

“Catrina and her family are moving to the coast of Northern California because her little sister, Maya, is sick. Cat isn’t happy about leaving her friends for Bahía de la Luna, but Maya has cystic fibrosis and will benefit from the cool, salty air that blows in from the sea. As the girls explore their new home, a neighbor lets them in on a secret: There are ghosts in Bahía de la Luna. Maya is determined to meet one, but Cat wants nothing to do with them. As the time of year when ghosts reunite with their loved ones approaches, Cat must figure out how to put aside her fears for her sister’s sake — and her own.”
Ghosts is a moving and powerful story about family and friendship and how that gives us the courage to do what we never thought would be possible.
