Minute Maid Dad's You're Doing Good Father's Day

My husband…let me talk to you a little about my husband. Alot of my blog posts are focused around Motherhood, and the amazing journey it has been with my two girls, and only occassionally do you hear about my wonderful husband. But with Father’s Day approaching and I want to dedicate this post to him and to all the other wonderful father’s out there that are a hero in their child’s eyes and who are doing an amazing job raising them.

Minute Maid Dad's You're Doing Good Father's Day

My husband is an adventurer. He loves the outdoors, he loves to swim and to take hikes and he’s also the first one to suggest we go picnic in the park on a nice warm day. He will be the one in the kitchen making all the sandwiches, getting all the snacks and drinks ready to take with us. His favorite thing to do is spend time with his family. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have married such a wonderful man.

Minute Maid Dad's You're Doing Good Father's Day

My girls love him so much. And on our trips to the park it’s him they want to be around. His hands are the ones they want to hold. He’s the hero these days, they want to be like him and do just about everything he does. He’s a hero in their eyes. He’s raising them to love the outdoors, to love nature, to be curious and to enjoy everything around them. He’s always there for them, he loves them, kisses them and holds them. He’s the best father I could have ever asked for for my children.

Minute Maid Dad's You're Doing Good Father's Day

It’s crazy to think that in just a few months there will be a little boy in the mix. My husband, although he said he was excited either way, could not keep a smile off his face when I told him we were having a little boy. A new little adventurer to join the mix and my husband will be the hero in yet another child’s life. I love him so much. Thank you Rick for being such a wonderful dad and husband. We love you. Happy Father’s Day.

Check out this new video from my partner at Minute Maid. Share it with the friends and family in your life who could use a reminder that they, too, are doing a great job as a parent.

My Dad is 84 and he is still doing a great job as a Dad by being supportive of everything I do and helping me emotionally when I went through hard times. He is devoted to his family and worked hard to support us when I was growing up.

My Dad did a great job in being the sole provider for a family of eight when I was growing up. He went to work every day and helped us with whatever we needed. I have always told him thank you so much for what he has done for me, and thank him for all of his support and love over the years. My Dad is 84 years old!

My brother-in-law was always there for me growing up (I’ve known him since I was 7). In many ways he was more of a father to me than my Dad was.

He is so dedicated and loving to his entire family and makes sure to do what is required to make everyone happy. He always keeps himself last- and does for others before himself! He is such a great daddy and role model as a man and father.
