The Best Bedtime Books For Your Bookworm (Ages 2-7 Years Old)

The best bedtime books for your little bookworm ages 2-6 years old
This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Random House Children’s.

My girls are little bookworms. We read books all day long, throughout the day and then again in the evening before bedtime.

Here’s what we’re currently reading at bedtime.

The best bedtime books for your little bookworm ages 2-6 years old

1. The Little Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep

This book is so sweet. It features an adorable little elephant named Ellen, who is on a journey through a magical forest that leads to sleep. Along the way, she meets different characters and has soothing experiences throughout the book. This book was created by author Carl-Johan, to help children sleep by using positive-reinforcement techniques to promote relaxation so kids can fall asleep easier. By the end of the book you’ve had a great read and some sleepy kids who are ready to fall asleep!

2. Groovy Joe: Ice Cream & Dinosaurs

This book is adorable. It’s an easy read with colorful, large images. This book features Joe who strums his guitar and sings a groovy song throughout the book. It also features some singing dinosaurs and Joe’s favorite – ice cream!

3. Fox in Socks

Who doesn’t love a good Dr. Seuss book? This book features Fox and Knox who converse throughout the book entirely in rhymes and tounge twisters. The girls get a kick out of it!

4. Unicorn Think’s He’s Pretty Great

One of my personal favorites from Bob Shae, we have a few Bob Shae books on our list. This adorable book features a unicorn and a goat who is constantly feeling like he’s being upstaged by unicorn. Example: Goat can almost make marshallow squares while unicorn makes it rain cupcakes!! In the end they learn that the other has strengths the other one doesn’t have and coming together can be a wonderful thing.

5. Ballet Cat The Totally Secret Secret

This one is another personal favorite. The Ballet Cat book series is really entertaining and easy to read. Ballet Cat loves to play one thing and one thing only, and if you haven’t guessed yet it’s Ballet! Sparkle Pony and Ballet Cat are trying to figure out what to play this day and turns out they both have some secrets they want to tell each other!

6. Ballet Cat Dance! Dance! Underpants!

Ballet Cat is helping her friend Butter Bear get ready to do some ballet leaps but Butter Bear wants to do anything but. Why? Find out why when you read a book but here’s a clue, it has something to do with her underpants. 🙂

And now I’m teaming up with Random House Children’s for a giveaway to give you a copy of The Little Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep! The giveaway is open to U.S. addresses only. Use the form to enter and good luck!
