DIY Felt Wrapped Christmas Candles

candlesfeaturedimage

Christmas is almost here! And I have a super easy project that you can do to dress up your bare candles and make them festive this winter season.

So I was sitting on my couch the other day looking at these two candles sitting near my fireplace – white, boring and bare…

I was looking through my craft drawer for things I could do to make them look festive and I found two sheets of red felt with adhesive backing! The felt with the adhesive backing is great to use for these types of projects because it’s so quick and easy, no need for glue. Although, if I didn’t have the adhesive felt, I could have easily used a glue gun to adhere the felt to the candle.

Then from our Christmas decor box, I came across a couple of old Christmas tree ornaments that weren’t being used. I debated on whether to use the Snowman and a snowflake, but I just went with the same and stuck with the basics, made them both with the snowflakes.

I cut off the string from the ornament, and used the glue gun to glue a small dot in the center of the snowflake, then adhered it to the felt.
