DIY Summer Flower Nails Tutorial

DIY Summer Flower Nail Tutorial

DIY Summer Flower Nail Tutorial

With summer here, I like to experiment with different nail colors and nail art, so I figured I would try out some summer flowers this time. It’s super simple and a really quick process.

Here’s what you need

IMG_0993edit

Your choice colored polish for base, clear top coat, polish color for flower center, white craft acrylic paint, 2 sizes small paint brushes

1. Paint your nails your choice of color as a base.

2. Using the smallest brush tip, dip your brush into your 2nd choice of nail color (I used light blue) and put 1 small dot on the top outer part of each finger (This is the center of your flower).

3. Use the 2nd paint brush which should be a little bigger than the 1st, and dip the brush into the white acrylic paint and make 4 dots around the center of the circle you just painted on.

4. Add clear topcoat

You’re done!

The entire process took me about 10-15 minutes. I added 1 flower but you can add as many as you like.

I used nail colors I already had and just purchased the acrylic paint and the paint brush from a craft store and paid about $5.00 total for both.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial! Let me know if you tried it out! 🙂

Your nails are so cute! My sister used to do cute designs on my nails like that using a tooth pick. One time I had an entire beach scene with pink flamingos. Thanks for linking up with the Tuesday baby link up a few weeks back. I hope to see you again!
