Financial Money Myths

Brightpeak Financial Myth Campaign for Family Financial Plans
This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with brightpeak financial® and Latina Bloggers Connect.

brightpeak financial’s Money Myth campaign is using the concept of mythical creatures to bring attention to a common myth in personal finance. brightpeak was created to help adults and families get the right financial information and the resources they need so that they can live with confidence. There are many myths out there that say that only wealthy people need to have a financial plan, but this isn’t the case. Anyone who is bringing in an income needs to have a financial plan in place.

brightpeak has designed a short and easy application that lets you start a profile to help you get started on your financial plan. I setup a profile with some of my goals. The website was really easy to navigate and the information was really useful.

This is part of what I received after doing my profile: “The $500 Savings Challenge is a FREE 7-day email program to help you boost your savings – and keep saving! Financial experts recommend having at least $1,000 to 3x monthly expenses in an emergency fund;1 we can help you get there.”

I like brightpeak’s mission, as they help young Christians grow stronger financially so that they may live with confidence and generosity. They’re a division of Thrivent Financial, a membership of Christians founded more than a century ago.
