For the longest time little one’s grandparents have been trying to talk me into getting her a walker. And everytime they mention it, I cringe and tell them a flat out No. The traditional walkers can be dangerous. They are banned in several other counties and accidents happen everyday in those things. So needless to say, she has never used a walker. Little one is 13 months old and although has taken a few steps on her own, is not full fledged walking on her own yet. We know she’s got the strength in her legs already to stand on her own, she just won’t take off walking unless she’s holding onto mommy or daddy’s hands.
When I heard about The Juppy, I was very excited to hear about this new alternative to the traditional walker. So when I had the opportunity to try it out I could not turn it down.
The Juppy is a very compact, all cloth device that the baby fits in, it has adjustable straps to adjust for height and also a zipper in the back as well as straps to secure baby in snug. It folds up into this cool little carrying case that comes with it and is small enough to fit in your purse.
Not only does this give little one the freedom to walk on her own, but it also prevents mom and dad from having to slouch down to hold her hands. And if you have been following my blog, you will know that I’m currently 8 months pregnant. So the less time I have to be slouching over the better. Both my hubby and I tried this out and it was very easy to walk her. She basically went on her own with us just guiding her. She took off in all directions and explored new areas at our home simply because she now has the means to get there.
I definitely recommend the Juppy to moms out there. If you’re like me and want to avoid the traditional walkers you will appreciate that there is an alternative out there on the market. What’s even better is that the Juppy does not cost anywhere near what the traditional walkers cost. So it’s less expensive and safer? You can’t pass it up.
