This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Pull-Ups® Training Pants and Latina Bloggers Connect.
You might have seen my post from about two weeks ago when I attended a Blogger luncheon with Huggies. I said that I receieved the best tips on training my toddler and being able to be aroud other moms and learn from their experiences was really priceless. This week I’m sharing with you a little bit more about some of the products that we have been able to try out since.
Huggies sent us home with some Pull-Up’s Training pants that are designed to help make potty training a fun and easy bonding experience between child by encouraging parents to celebrate potty training with fun rituals such as “Celebrating Every Flush”.
Here are a few reasons why you should consider Pull-Ups® Training Pants when beginning to potty train.
- They are proven to deliver more potty training success than diapers
- Pull-Ups® have stretchy sides that allow the child to learn the skill of pulling down and up
- Right amount of protection for training
- Consistently using Pull Ups® Training Pants throughout the entire potty training process, instead of switching back to diapers, will reduce toddler confusion and lead to more success:
- Pull-Ups® offers a solution for consistent potty training for every situation; whether on a shopping trip with Mom, riding in the car, running around the park or bundled up in bed.
- Pull-Ups® Training Pants help make potty training a motivating and fun experience for the toddlers and not just the parents.
So how can this experience be fun?
That was one of my own questions at the luncheon. I’m not going to lie, at first the thought of potty training seemed a bit, well….scary and stressful! But I learned of a few resources for mom and child to make the experience FUN!
Make sure to Celebrate the First Flush. Celebrate the Every Flush is a ritual designed to celebrate successes in potty training.
Pull-Ups® provides tools and resources at the Pull-Ups® Big Kid Academy that make potty training fun and easy for Mom and child to help them Celebrate the First Flush.
Nina Needs to Go: Pull-Ups® is a proud sponsor of Nina Needs to Go, an animated short form series for preschoolers that airs daily on Disney® Channel and Disney Junior. Nina Needs to Go follows four-year-old Nina who often ‘needs to go’ at the most inopportune moments, and must use her initiative to overcome the obstacles between her and the nearest bathroom.
Nina Needs to Go is a first-of-its kind partnership for Pull-Ups® and will also be featured on the Big Kid Academy at Pull-Ups.com.
Video Character Call: Toddlers can receive a video call from their favorite Disney® characters such as Cinderella and characters from Cars.
Potty News Network: A place for moms to share their First Flushers’ celebration by creating a customized animated news clip to share with friends and family on social media.
Music Room: An interactive room where toddlers can click on an instrument to play music and get the party started.
Potty Training Progress Chart: A printable chart that encourages moms to track their First Flusher’s potty training accomplishments.
You can find out more about all of these on the Pull-Up’s website here. We have the potty chair that was given to us at the luncheon that makes noise each time the lid is closed, but I think we may also try the Video Character call since my girl LOVES the Disney Princesses & Minnie Mouse right now, I think that might be a BIG WIN.
So what is there for parents?

I hope that this information and tips has helped you in the process of wherever you are with your little ones. I know we have a long way to go, she’s interested…but not quite there yet. I’m hoping these fun activities will start getting her more excited about it. Because remember, I have to go through this x 2! Yes, the thought scared me a little but I feel a little more prepared now for when her sister is ready.
