OUR NEXT FAMILY VACATION SPOT || FAMILY TRAVEL PLANNING WITH VRBO

This is a sponsored campaign with Vrbo. All opinions are my own.

One of our goals this year was to travel more as a family. It’s getting a little easier each year as the kids turn another year older. When we travel one of the things that we look for are places with full kitchens. We just feel like that, at this time in our lives, and with our young son and food allergies, it’s the most convenient for us. Having a place to stay where we can prepare our own meals is so much less stressful for us. That’s why we are so happy that we live in a time of websites and apps like Vrbo, which stands for Vacation Rentals By Owner, and is now pronounced Vrbo (ver-boh), was one of the very first companies to start offering vacation homes for rent by the owners themselves. It’s such a great concept!!

Searching for places to stay around the world with the amenities we need has never been so easy. We love using Vrbo’s Trip Boards because my husband and I can both be searching at the same time for places we want to go and save our favorites to our own boards so that we can share with each other once it comes time to book.

We are planning a trip this fall before the kids go back to school and we created a trip board for some of our favorite places. So far it looks like San Diego, CA will be the winner. There are so many homes and condo’s on the beach that look so beautiful. Being from Texas, whenever i have the opportunity to travel somewhere with great weather and near the ocean that I MUST stay on or right near the beach. I just have to. Growing up, I remember visiting the beach with my family and those memories are so cherished. I want to give my kids the same experience.

If you’re looking to find savings when planning your next family vacation, check out Vrbo’s Bang for Your Buck Index. Vrbo’s Bang for Your Buck Index has been such a helpful way to find destinations that also offer the most value for your money. The Index makes it easy to find homes that are less than $250 per night but offer prime features like proximity to beaches, a variety of dining options, ready access to outdoor recreation and more. The Vrbo app makes it so easy to plan a family vacation. One more important thing to note is that everything is done directly through the Vrbo app or website, so you know it’s safe.

I have had so much joy looking through the Vrbo app on my phone late at night when the kids are asleep, knowing that this trip will be a complete surprise to them. Have you ever stayed at a Vrbo home?? Let me know, we are always searching for great places to stay!
