Well, I don’t have a very organized, thought out post for you today. Just a few randomness that went on over the weekend.
We had our first trip to the mall as a family, taking the little one out and she did quite well actually. She is alot bigger now! She’s 9 1/2 lbs already so she’s at the point where I can pick her up and not be so scared that she’s going to slip through my arms.
Here’s a pic of Baby, giving a not-so-ready-camera face and a picture of her little foot. Just because it’s cute…
She’s alot bigger than my first was at her age. My first born had a tough time gaining weight, she was only 6lbs when she was born and even now the doctor’s say she’s going to be a tall, slender girl.
Last weigh in, she was 22lbs and in the 90% percentile of height!
Doctor’s say she will probably be at an adult height of 5’7 or 5’8. Taller than me, I’m only 5’5′. Baby on the other hand, will probably be shorter and so far she doesn’t seem to have many issues gaining weight.
It doesn’t help that my toddler is such a PICKY EATER. She won’t eat anything unless it’s sweet and well, tastes like banana.
So for right now, anything goes as long as it has banana in it. Here is a picture of her dinner. It is chicken and pasta stars, she doesn’t like pasta sauce so forget that, OH and yes it’s mixed with banana.
EEEEK!
I don’t care, as long as she eats it!
Not sure how long this will last but it will definitely make our loves easier when she is eating what we eat.
I can’t say the same for juice though. She LOVES the juice box! This is her satisfied face while chugging one down.
So back to our mall trip. We managed to somehow make it through a meal at the mall without a diaper explosion or a fit from anyone.
Oh, and I purchased my VERY FIRST non-maternity piece of clothing today for the first time in over 2 years!
WOOOOOOHOO!!!!
Yes that’s right. I have been pregnant for THAT long! It was only a few months after giving birth to my first that we learned we were expecting Baby.
Here’s my new t-shirt dress. A find at Express, on sale 🙂
What else happened…
Baby is now lifting her head. Only a month old and she already rolled over for the first time too. This little girl is strong!
Maybe it’s what I ate when I was pregnant?
KIDDING! I can’t say it was healthy eating. When you’re trying to take care of a toddler all day, sometimes you eat whatevers around and whenever you can.
My mom came over on Saturday to spend time with the baby while the hubby was working. I took the big girl out, just her and I, to get some ice-cream.
It amazes me how I can see her grow up a little more each day. Such a bittersweet feeling.
The hubby asked me this weekend why there aren’t more pictures of him on my blog. HEHE, I told him he needs to start taking more PIN-WORTHY pictures and I’d start posting them.
Just Kidding.
Here’s a pic of the hubby with my first.
And some snuggles from the sisters.
In my opinion, the best way to spend any weekend…

August 20, 2013 at 8:33 amI love the dress. You sure look great in it. You girls are too cute. I think all the little ones are picky eaters until they turn in to hungry teens!
Growing Up Madison
August 20, 2013 at 8:59 amYou look great after having baby #2 and I’m loving the pics of the family. It took me a while to feel comfortable wearing non-maternity clothes after I had Madison who’s baby #4 but I’m finally there. Comfortable within my skin. I still need to lose a few pounds but its ok. And we both have picky eaters. Madison would eat anything when she was younger now she shakes her head to everything. Doc says as long as she’s eating and getting her protein not to worry about it. Hope you’re having a great week.

August 20, 2013 at 5:57 pmThat’s what her doc says, protein is what she wants her on so were trying soy stuff too. She actually likes tofu.
You must have your hands full with 4! 🙂 I would like to have at least 3 but we might be done for a little while…

August 20, 2013 at 5:17 pmThese photos are so precious. I loved taking pictures of my sons’ feet too when they were that small. As a matter of fact I have one I took of my foot next to my little one’s in the hospital.
Melanie
August 20, 2013 at 5:52 pmThat’s a great idea! I wish I had thought of that in the hospital. I bet it looked so tiny!

August 27, 2013 at 7:40 amSuper cute dress and super cute kids. Oh and I say if putting bananas in everything gets your kiddo to eat go for it. Right now we eat “hottie boo meat” which is actually fish. Apparently hottie boo meat is delicious and the best thing ever and he eats it all up and asks for more. Sure kiddo if you want to call it hottie boo meat and will eat it, I can work with that.
Thanks for linking up with the Tuesday Baby link up last week. I hope to see you back this week.
