This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with JOHNSON’S® Baby and Latina Bloggers Connect.
My toddler woke up yesterday morning sick. She was throwing up and not feeling well and everything I had on my to-do list for the day went to the side. Nothing mattered except her. I made her a promise that I would be by her side until she felt better. So she sat in my lap as we watched Scooby Doo, she sipped on some Gatorade and ate crackers. And we sat there until she started feeling better. I could tell that when she started dancing to the Scooby Doo theme she was starting to feel herself. As a mother, my kids health and safety comes first, ahead of everything else. They are my life. It’s instinctive that we protect our own and put their safety first, even before our own.
I admit that when articles begin popping up over concerns about some of the ingredients in JOHNSON’S® Baby products I listened, and I even stopped purchasing them all together. Why risk it right? And I know I’m not the only mother in my circle of moms that stopped either. So when I heard that JOHNSON’S® Baby listened to mothers across the world and removed the controversial ingredients from their products. I couldn’t wait to share the news. According to JOHNSON’S® Baby they did this not because of safety, but for peace of mind.
As the new products hit shelves, they are launching a heartfelt campaign called “Your Promise is Our Promise” as a way to express our ongoing commitment to moms. Just as moms make promises to their children, JOHNSON’S® Baby also makes promises so moms don’t have to worry about the products they use on their little ones.
As a way to express their commitment to babies everywhere, they have released a video sharing the promise as a love story to mothers, fathers and babies everywhere. The video is really cool, you must check it out. 🙂 Based on a Japanese legend that folding 1,000 origami cranes will result in a wish granted and a hope fulfilled, JOHNSON’S® Baby scientists came together with their families to create an origami stork mobile to show mom that her promise is their promise, too.
“Changing our products was our labor of love for moms and babies, but we used storks in our video because they represent the delivery of babies, and the hopes and promises of families.” – JOHNSON’S® Baby
Watch it and share it with moms you know!
