State Farm Celebrate My Drive® Campaign + $50 Giveaway

This is part of a sponsored collaboration with State Farm and Latina Mom Bloggers. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

Celebrate My Drive State Farm

The Celebrate My Drive® campaign was created by State Farm in 2012 to share the belief that safe driving is a lifelong commitment from the start. Since last year, thousands of students, family, friends and high school staff members have joined the party.

Celebrate My Drive® is a chance for communities to rally around young drivers and encourage them to make safe driving choices every time they’re behind the wheel. With good reason – auto crashes are the number one cause of death among teens in North America.

Overall the participation in risky behaviors while driving—such as not wearing a seat belt, riding in a car driven by someone who had been drinking, or texting while driving—is higher among Hispanic teens according to the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance. Celebrate My Drive promotes responsible driving practices like 2N2®: 2 eyes on the road and 2 hands on the wheel.

Celebrate My Drive State Farm

This year, the Celebrate My Drive program will reward schools and communities for making safe driving commitments. Those schools and students that commit to safe teen driving will make their school eligible to win grant money for school programs and a private concert by a GRAMMY® Award nominee band!! Amazing!

We encourage communities to get their schools signed up at celebratemydrive.com. Registration closes on Oct. 7th so you still have time to sign up. Teens and community members can commit to safe driving once a day every day from October 15th – 24th in support of their favorite high school. The 100 high schools generating the most safe-driving commitments during the Oct. 15-24th time frame will win grants and the top two schools will win concerts! Two grand prize winning schools will receive a private concert by a GRAMMY® Award nominee band. The 100 high schools with the most online safe driving commitments will win a grant award of $25,000 or $100,000.

Check and see if your high school is registered here. If not, please contact your school administrator to encourage them register your school. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity and the chance to get the word out on safe driving for teens.

To help get the word out on this great program, State Farm is sponsoring a giveaway for one of my readers! Enter to win a $50 gifrcard using the form below. Good luck!!

I don’t have teens yet but I have pre-teens. This initiative is important because we’ve had quite a number of teen car accidents that unfortunately ended in death in our county.

This campaign is important because it brings awareness of safe driving to teens and young adults. I don’t currently have any teens but there are a lot in my area that I see making bad driving decisions.

I think this is a great campaign to teach kids about the importance of safety when driving, great way to also get parents involved in the subject. I don’t have teens driving yet as mine are still young.

I do not have teens driving at the moment. I’m not looking forward to a time when I do. Right now, my concern who I share the road with, especially when I’m out with my family. So many people are driving distracted and on their phones. It is so scary. I think this campaign is important, often teens think they are invincible. We could all use reminders to drive safe!!

It’s important because teenagers need the knowledge this provides. I have a daughter who will be driving in a couple years and one that has been driving for about a year now. And I worry about them…..

I don’t have teens but I feel the program is important because teens are the group that has the most accidents and a lot of them seem distracted when driving.
